The amniotic sac will be released throughout the course of that day, marking the end of the pregnancy. You must stay at home that day because doing this will result in cramps and blood loss.
Surgical Procedure
An experienced clinician vaginally removes the pregnancy using either specialized devices (dilation and evacuation) or suction (vacuum aspiration).
For pregnancies up to 23 weeks and 6 days, we provide surgical abortions. Depending on your medical history and how many weeks along you are in your pregnancy, we will recommend a certain surgical abortion treatment.
